My family and I spent last Saturday at one of our favourite parks, mainly because our daughter is obsessed with ducks and this park has them a plenty!
This particular day, a fluffy little duckling (my daughter named him ‘Bubblechamp’) was really showing off putting on a show; diving, splashing and zooming through the reeds. So here’s some photos I took on my iPhone of the friendly ducks and specifically Bubblechamp.
Remember those cheeky Humpback whales I briefly mentioned in my last post?
These were taken off Surfers Paradise in the Pacific Ocean in early October, right at the tail end of whale watching season.
Well here’s the full series of images of the spectacular breach for your awe and enjoyment.

FYI The image above was taken on my iPhone in Surfers Paradise this past October. This beautiful humpback whale and her calf decided to put on a show right next to our boat, breaching fully out of the water – she was so close we felt her blow whole spray! Amazing creatures.
Here’s a selection of my misc. photography work that I just had to share – the bits and pieces captured in between photo shoots …
These were taken at Howqua – my aunt and uncle own a holiday house on the banks of the Lake Eildon and driving in through the thick scrub, this thong tree catches your eye!
In the pursuit of capturing the quirky Kylie’s personality, I ended up with a set of images that was so much more…
Expressions really embodied the initial idea of capturing the feelings and emotions of the model at the exact moment I snapped the shot and the end product of montage style imagery.
These classic portraits were a treat to snap; Kylie brought an energy that was so natural and equally fun!
Dancing Alone – I can hear the music!
Here we have the stunning Jessica who found her whimsical, musical energy behind the camera. With a few clever Photoshop effects, the final montage is fluid and the movement emphasised. Thanks for your energy Jessica!
